Bloodborne Pathogens |
||
|
All Clemson University employees with the potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens in their workplace environment must by law receive special training. Note that for the purposes of this training, anyone who receives payment from Clemson University (including student workers and Grad Students) who is exposed as part of their job duties is an EMPLOYEE.
In this EHS training program, you will learn methods of protecting yourself from potential exposure to blood borne pathogens in your workplace. It also covers the very important procedures that must be carried out should accidental exposure occur. The program is organized into sections, beginning with a description of the terminology used and a description of the blood borne pathogens regulations. At the end of the program is a brief quiz designed to test your knowledge of blood borne pathogens. Once you have successfully answered the questions you will be registered with EHS as having completed the Blood borne Pathogens Training Course. The entire program and quiz should take about less than an hour. If
you are unsure if you need to receive this training, check out the BBP
criteria before continuing.
